Background

As the global institutionalization of digital assets accelerates, major economies are establishing stablecoin and virtual asset regulatory frameworks. At this critical moment, Taiwan urgently needs a professional platform that integrates the strengths of industry, government, and academia to provide solid support for digital asset policymaking and industry innovation.

The Digital Asset Development Research Center (DADRC) was officially established on May 5, 2025, co-founded by the Taiwan Association for Blockchain Ecosystem Innovation (TABEI), the Institute for Information Industry (III) FinTech Center, the Asia-Pacific RegTech Association (ARTA), and the NCCU Digital Finance Innovation Lab — marking a new starting point for Taiwan's digital finance ecosystem.
